Welcome to SlabVault, operated by Slabr. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SlabVault, a web application located at slabvault.app (and any related domains we may operate in the future) that allows users to browse and search PSA-graded card listings sourced from PSA's official eBay store.

By accessing or using SlabVault, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use our service.

Important Disclaimer: SlabVault and Slabr are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by PSA (Professional Sports Authenticator) or eBay. We are an independent service that aggregates and displays listing information from PSA's official eBay store to help users discover and browse PSA-graded cards more easily. All transactions, purchases, and interactions with actual card listings occur on eBay or other third-party platforms, not through SlabVault.

2. Eligibility and Account

2.1 Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use SlabVault. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent's or guardian's permission to use this service.

By using SlabVault, you represent and warrant that you meet these age requirements and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2.2 Account Responsibilities

Currently, SlabVault does not require user accounts for basic browsing. However, if we introduce account features, alerts, or other services that require registration in the future, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and promptly update your account information to keep it accurate
• Maintain the security of your account credentials (username, password, etc.)
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security
• Not share your account credentials with any third party

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.

3. Use of the Service

• Browse and search PSA-graded card listings
• Use filters and sorting features to find cards of interest
• Click through to eBay listings to view or purchase cards
• Share links to SlabVault pages with others

3.2 Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Scraping and Automated Access: Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or scripts to extract data from SlabVault at scale, bypass rate limits, or overload our servers. This includes using tools like web crawlers, API clients not authorized by us, or any method that places an unreasonable burden on our infrastructure.
• Reverse Engineering: Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise derive the source code, algorithms, or underlying structure of SlabVault.
• Security Violations: Attempt to gain unauthorized access to SlabVault, our servers, databases, or any systems or networks connected to SlabVault. This includes attempting to bypass security measures, testing for vulnerabilities without authorization, or interfering with the service's operation.
• Abuse and Misuse: Use SlabVault in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our servers or networks, or interfere with any other party's use of the service.
• Illegal Activities: Use SlabVault for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights.
• Impersonation: Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Commercial Use: Use SlabVault for commercial purposes, resale, or to build a competing service without our express written permission.
• Data Mining: Extract, collect, or harvest information about other users or the service for any purpose not expressly permitted by these Terms.

3.3 Enforcement

We reserve the right to monitor your use of SlabVault and to take appropriate action if we detect violations of these Terms, including but not limited to:

• Issuing warnings
• Suspending or terminating your access to the service
• Blocking your IP address or device
• Taking legal action if necessary

We are not obligated to monitor or enforce these Terms, but we may do so at our discretion.

4. No Affiliation with Third Parties

Important: SlabVault is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by:

• PSA (Professional Sports Authenticator)
• eBay Inc. or any eBay affiliates
• Any card grading companies
• Any card manufacturers or publishers

All trademarks, service marks, logos, and brand names displayed on SlabVault (including but not limited to "PSA," "eBay," and related marks) are the property of their respective owners. We use these marks solely for identification and informational purposes.

Third-Party Listings and Transactions:

• All card listings, prices, availability, and descriptions are controlled by third parties (eBay sellers, PSA)
• We do not control, verify, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or quality of any listing information
• We are not responsible for any transactions, purchases, or interactions that occur on eBay or other third-party platforms
• Any disputes regarding purchases, shipping, authenticity, or card condition must be resolved directly with the seller or eBay
• We do not process payments, handle transactions, or act as an intermediary in any sales

By using SlabVault, you acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible for any issues, losses, or damages arising from your interactions with third-party platforms or sellers.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Our Intellectual Property

SlabVault, including its website, code, design, user interface, graphics, logos, and original content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved.

Trademarks, logos, and brand names of third parties (such as PSA, eBay, Pokemon, sports leagues, etc.) displayed on SlabVault are the property of their respective owners. We do not claim ownership of these marks and use them solely for identification and informational purposes.

If you submit any content to SlabVault (such as comments, feedback, or user-generated content), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display such content in connection with operating and promoting SlabVault. You represent that you have the right to grant this license and that your content does not violate any third-party rights.

6. Disclaimers

6.1 "As Is" and "As Available"

SLABVAULT IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
• Warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or harmful components
• Warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or timeliness of any information, listings, or data displayed
• Warranties that defects will be corrected

6.2 Listing Information

We do not warrant or guarantee:

• The accuracy, completeness, or currency of listing information (prices, availability, descriptions, images)
• That listings are still available or that prices are current
• The authenticity, condition, or quality of any cards listed
• That listing data is updated in real-time or without delay

Listing information is provided by third parties (eBay, PSA) and may be delayed, inaccurate, or incomplete. Always verify information directly on eBay before making a purchase.

6.3 No Investment Advice

SlabVault is a browsing and search tool, not a financial or investment advisor. We do not:

• Provide investment, financial, or trading advice
• Guarantee that any card will appreciate in value
• Endorse or recommend any specific cards, sellers, or purchases
• Make any representations about market trends, pricing, or investment potential

Any decisions to purchase cards are solely your responsibility. You should conduct your own research and consult with qualified professionals before making investment decisions.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SLABR, SLABVAULT, ITS OWNERS, OPERATORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
• Loss or damage to personal property
• Costs of substitute goods or services
• Damages arising from your use or inability to use SlabVault
• Damages arising from errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in listing information
• Damages arising from transactions or interactions with third parties (eBay, sellers, etc.)
• Damages arising from unauthorized access to or alteration of your data

THIS LIMITATION APPLIES REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY (WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE) AND EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Maximum Liability: If, despite the above limitations, we are found liable for any damages, our total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to your use of SlabVault shall not exceed the greater of:

• The amount you paid to us (if any) in the three (3) months preceding the claim, or
• One hundred dollars ($100 USD)

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you. In such cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Slabr, SlabVault, its owners, operators, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to:

• Your use or misuse of SlabVault
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights (including intellectual property, privacy, or other rights)
• Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations
• Any content you submit or transmit through SlabVault

We reserve the right to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, in which case you agree to cooperate with us in defending such claims.

The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, or if modification is not possible, it shall be severed from these Terms.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Slabr (operating SlabVault) regarding your use of the service and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, agreements, or understandings, whether oral or written.
